APAN57 MEETING

The Asia-Pacific Advanced Network (APAN) is an organisation that aims to facilitate collaboration and information exchange among research and education networks in the Asia-Pacific region. Twice a year, APAN organizes meetings that bring together researchers, educators, network engineers, and policymakers to discuss new technologies, share best practices, and explore innovative solutions for research and education networking.

APAN57, set against the backdrop of the vibrant city of Bangkok, Thailand, will be the focal point of a gathering of the finest minds from the Asia-Pacific research and education community. Over five illuminating days, from the 29th of January to the 2nd of February 2024, this dynamic metropolis will provide an inspiring setting for attendees to collaboratively explore shared challenges and opportunities in the realm of advanced networking.

APAN57 offers a distinctive event for participants to engage in collaborative efforts, foster idea exchanges, and pioneer novel technologies aimed at bolstering regional growth and progress. This event provides attendees with the chance to not only share their valuable experiences and expertise but also to collectively advance network technologies and explore inventive solutions tailored to the needs of research and education networking.

Thailand Research Education Network Association (ThaiREN) will be hosting the event, ensuring it is executed flawlessly. APAN57 is not just any meeting, but a platform for experts from the Asia-Pacific research and education community to come together and unlock endless possibilities united with the APAN member NRENs. The event promises to be a vital catalyst in advancing the Asia-Pacific region’s research and education networking community.
